Such an annoying issue and I really wish I knew what it was specifically about that one part that makes the game freeze like that. But I just tested with the settings mentioned and I got passed it first try with graphics and resolution set to the lowest. But every month we have large bills and running ads is our only way to cover them. We don't have paywalls or sell mods - we never will. As i stated with the original post I did manage to fluke past that part with no settings altered once. Mods for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions (SM:SD) Ads keep us online.
I just tried doing this and it seems to have worked. In the game options, go to graphics and change everything to low (even the resolution) Make sure you did this with both game.exe and launcher.exe In the compatibility tab, run the game with windows vista, and enable the last three boxes (all the options except the collor one) Go to the folder where you installed the game, right click on game.exe and launcher.exe then click on properties My game was freezing in that exact corridor, and I couldnt find any solution for this specific problem anywhere in the internet, so I made a few things and I don't know wich one really solved the problem, but you are free to test them one by one if you want to, or simply beat the level with all of them.
